Under the guidance of the Payroll Manager, and as a member of a small, high-performing team, you will perform standardised payroll processing within a high-volume, continuously improving, quality-controlled, and customer-focused framework.
What you'll be doing
Overseeing Payroll Processing: Responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for allocated locations.Month-End and Year-End Processing: Handling end-of-month and end-of-financial-year processing for the same locations.Training Support: Assisting in training new Payroll Officers and Payroll Admin Officers.Audit and Reporting: Contributing to audit, reconciliation, and reporting related to leave usage and balances.Values and Safety: Championing organisational values and demonstrating commitment to work health and safety.What you'll need to succeedMinimum of 1 year of experience in a payroll or finance roleIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience using electronic accounts processing or payroll softwareAbility to obtain and maintain an NT driving licenceHighly effective interpersonal skills, including proficient written and oral communication adaptable to diverse education levels, language abilities, and ethnic backgroundsCapacity to align daily activities with the company’s values and missionWhat you need to do now
