Role Overview
Working for the Senior Manager of Financial Control this role will assume responsibility for the accurate and timely month-end, reconciliation and delivery of internal and external reporting requirements. The role will operate with a significant degree of autonomy and requires a candidate who can operate effectively with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include
- Managing the monthly and annual financial reporting process
- Delivery of accurate and timely internal and external reporting
- Maintaining the financial control processes for a number of corporate entities
- Assisting with group reporting requirements
- General support for the Group Finance function including participating in project work, Board reporting, accounting advice for transactions and new accounting standards
- 4-5+ years experience in Big 4/mid-tier Chartered - Business Services or corporate financial accounting
- Strong Excel skills including Pivots, Vlookups and Macros
- Polished communication and interpersonal skills
- Extensive experience preparing financial statements - financial services experience highly desireable
