Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant (SFA), the Financial Accountant (FA) will support the financial reporting process.Torrens University Australia reports to a US Listed (NASDAQ) parent entity. The FA will be a key contributor to meeting the company’s commitment to bring more automation solutions and drive process improvements, with the aim to achieve efficiencies, develop staff capabilities and ultimately ensure a work life balance for all. We work flexibly under a hybrid mode with the team on-site 2-3 days a week. If you are looking to work with a vibrant and collaborative team, this is the place for you!Day-to-day accountabilities:Preparation of timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliationsAssistance with preparation of supplementary monthly and quarterly close deliverablesAssistance with periodic internal and external audit requirementsAssistance with external financial reporting requirements including financial statementsAssistance with ad hoc financial requests as requiredIdentification and implementation of improvements relating to close processTo read more about the role please click here to readThis is a permanent part-time role 30.8 hours per week (4 days equivalence ) we are flexible with working days (depending on candidate) and based in Surry Hills. You will need to have full time ongoing working rights – no sponsorship sorry.
