Peter Gogsch Accountants is delighted to announce an exceptional opportunity for two experienced Financial Accountants to join their thriving team in Mount Isa, QLD. As a forward-thinking firm, Peter Gogsch is committed to offering top-tier tax and business advisory services predominantly to clients within the North-western Queensland region, encompassing diverse industries from Mining Services to Grazing.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position designed for Financial Accountants with a minimum of 5 years of experience. My client offers a degree of flexibility regarding working hours. The successful candidates will be integral to their operations, with responsibilities tailored to their expertise level, including but not limited to:

·       Advanced preparation of Business Activity Statements and Financial Statements for a wide range of entities (Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Sole Traders, and SMSFs).

·       Expertise in the preparation of Income Tax Returns for various entities.

·       Offering high-level ad-hoc support to clients on software-related issues.

·       Effective liaison with clients to provide exceptional service and advice.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.

·       Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.

·       Proficiency in technology, including cloud-based accounting systems, and adaptability to new software.

·       A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial accounting role, with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices.

·       Degree qualification in accounting or a related field. Candidates should be either CA/CPA qualified or actively pursuing these or equivalent qualifications.
