Position Overview:
Join our team at Stress Free Accounts, where you will collaborate closely with our director and accounting team to deliver exceptional results to our valued individual and small business clients.
Core Duties:
- Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Activity Statements: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of activity statements.
- Preparation of Annual Tax Returns: Manage the preparation of annual tax returns for various entities, including individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs).
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements: Prepare annual financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs.
- Client-Facing Business Support and Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing personalised business support and advisory services to help them achieve their financial and business goals.
- Regular Tax Planning and Advisory: Proactively identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic advice to clients to minimise tax liabilities and optimise financial outcomes.
- Small Business Bookkeeping Support (Xero): Offer support with small business bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
- Communicating with the ATO: Act as a liaison between clients and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), facilitating communication and ensuring compliance with ATO requirements.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 Years Experience in a Similar Role: We are seeking a candidate with a proven record, boasting a minimum of five years of experience in a similar financial accounting role.
- Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication is the cornerstone of our client-centric approach.
