In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Financial Lines offerings and providing product support to internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with multiple insurer partners to drive product innovation, maintain compliance, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Your expertise in underwriting and knowledge of the Financial Lines market will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our business.Responsibilities
- The role will be focused on Financial Lines but knowledge of other general lines of insurance will be of benefit
- A key part of your role, you will be providing the expertise for ongoing projects to improve and simplify the business pack offering.
- Tracking and reporting on product performance to internal and external stakeholders and recommending actions to drive performance.
- You will be a key person in Financial Lines product builds including scoping and testing.
- Support Insurers with Audit Action Items
- Manage Financial Lines Underwriting Guidelines across multipe insurers: maintain, improve & ensure platform is compliant
- Support internal stakeholders such as IT, Claims, QA and Learning & Development with product questions, testing, training materials and provide general support across the company for adhoc product questions.
- Minimum 3 years of specialisation in Financial Lines insurance (broking or underwriting).
- Expert knowledge of the core Financial Lines product, including its sections and the different offerings from insurers in the market.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in analysing data and generating reports is an advantage.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, as you will be handling requests from multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, as you will be interacting with insurers and various stakeholders within the company.
- Attention to detail.
- A strong desire to learn, innovate, and challenge the existing norms.
- Proactivity in suggesting ideas, working autonomously, and being comfortable with taking direction.
- Ability to problem solve.
- A positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Experience working on technology projects would be highly valued.
- Hybrid working model with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days a week and a minimum of 2 days a week in the Sydney CBD office.
