Financial Accountant
Your new company
This manufacturing company is conveniently located on the outskirts of the CBD. They are an exciting organisation, looking to appoint a Financial Accountant who can operate in a stand-alone position to look after the finances. The role will start off on a temporary basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
- Manage accounts Receivable and Payables
- MYOB Payroll Wages and salaries (10 on payroll weekly and monthly)
- MYOB Exo Software for general accounting/stock control
- Reconcile Credit cards Visa & Amex
- Monthly BAS and superannuation
- Liaise with an External Accountant
- Year-end with an external Accountant
- Prepare workers' compensation
- Cash flow reporting
- Month end financial P & L and Trial balance
- Insurance Policies liaison with broker
- General office duties as required
- Partake in stock take
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Self-starter
- Very organised
- Capable of working in a stand-alone role
- Previous experience in a similar hands-on position
