The Role
Based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches we are a collection of coffee enthusiasts together focused on making quality coffee accessible to more people every day.
Reporting to our Group Financial Controller, as a Financial Accountant you will support the delivery of finance objectives moves along its growth journey. You will have exposure across the entire business including Sales, IT, Marketing and Operations. As a finance business partner you will collaborate closely with our Group Financial Controller and Senior Financial Accountant, to support the business and facilitate a seamless workflows
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Variance Analysis: Analyse and explain variances between actual and budgeted financial results, providing insights to support management decision-making
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Tax compliance (FBT, income, GST)
- Management of fixed asset recognition and register for entire group including understanding and application of relevant IFRS and AASB standards and tax legislation
- Key projects and process improvements
You will be CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years’ experience with advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular Excel) and exposure to ERP systems. In addition you will be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, have excellent communication skills and can articulate finance to non-finance stakeholders.
