Position
Reporting to a supportive Financial Controller, the primary objectives of the role will be assisting in a range of full-cycle accounting and finance duties such as:
- Reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly BAS returns for multiple entities.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Australian and overseas entities.
- Management of Fixed Assets register and monthly depreciation.
- Assist with Capex reporting and forecasting, and Capex cashflow inputs
- Assistance with EOM close for all entities.
- Posting of weekly payroll journals and reconciliation of payroll clearing accounts and accruals (back-up).
- Produce clear end-to-end process documentation, incorporating good corporate governance and process controls..
- Assist with preparation of Statutory accounts for multiple entities
- Assist with preparation of compliance obligations with super, Payroll tax, Workers Comp, FBT
- Assisting with preparation of weekly and monthly management dashboard reporting (evolving).
You will be a qualified (or working towards) CA or CPA with some commercial sector experience. You must have excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity and be ethical. This role is broad and challenging and will be hands on so a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" is essential.
