About the Position Newington College is seeking an energetic and pragmatic Financial Accountant with an eye for detail to support our Finance Manager. Using your financial expertise, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly and annual reporting processes, compliance reporting, data entry and financial analysis to support our thriving day and boarding school.This is a role for a qualified or partly qualified Financial Accountant, who possesses strong accounting skills, preferably with experience in the Education sector or first-movers from big 4 or mid-tier accounting firms. The role requires high attention to detail, a professional demeanor, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.The Financial Accountant is a full-time permanent position that is based in our Secondary Stanmore campus in Stanmore. The Financial Accountant is a member of the Finance Department and reports directly to the Finance Manager and is an important member of the Finance team and the wider College.Newington values professional operational staff who demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to their work and have a willingness to participate fully in the life of the College.
