Key Responsibilities
- Month end Fund and Corporate accounting including journals, reconciliations, analysis and commentary against budget and prior period comparatives.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS returns for Fund and Corporate entities.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual tax calculations across the Funds, and review of income tax returns.
- Preparation of quarterly banking covenant reporting obligations
- Preparation of annual and half-year audit files and attend to auditor queries.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual Fund and Corporate budgets and reforecasts
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly board papers and distribution process across the Funds.
- Assist in the preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax return.
- Monitoring of the general accounts inbox.
Key Attributes
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Accountant
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Proactive approach to tasks and an ability to prioritise work appropriately
- CA/CPA in progress
- Australian PR/Citizenship
