As a member of the Financial Accounting team this position is responsible for providing consistent, accurate and efficient financial accounting services across the Local Health District and will be part of the succession plan for the Financial Accounting team.The role will be responsible for the overall financial management of Restricted Financial Assets, that are retained in a complex accounting structure. The role will also take responsibility of the FBT annual tax return and management of LHD Salary Packaging requirements.Benefits of working for Western Sydney Local Health District

- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Standards and financial principles including relevant experience relating to trust fund management, Salary Packaging and FBT.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management and staff.
- Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office applications and experience using databases, reporting tools and financial systems such as Oracle.
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy and reporting of financial information within strict timeframes.
