ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join á growing business, replacing our retiring director.
The role provides the right candidate with the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing enterprise and build a team that will support the growth plans currently in place.
This is a broad role, ideally suited to a professionally qualified CPA or Degree qualified accountant that is looking to step up into a more senior role and create the opportunities that will elevate the role into greater responsibilities as the company grows.
Ideally you will have a can-do attitude but display the precision required in your decision making that will ensure accuracy and timeliness as required in a Financial Accounts role.
- Preparation and delivery of Monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
- All reporting, compliance and financial governance
- The preparation and oversight of the monthly management and board reports
- Manage the cash flow of the business
- Ensure the efficient process of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Work with the factory management team in the provision of KPI critical to the efficient functioning of the operations with particular emphasis on the costs of running the enterprise
- Assist the executive in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Work with external accountants in the preparation of annual financial statements and income tax compliance
- Responsible for Monthly BAS/PAYG preparation and lodgment

- A relevant tertiary accounting qualification
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally from a manufacturing background
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft products, particularly Excel
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills
