A Senior Financial Accountant opportunity has become available, which will see you assist the Statutory Reporting Manager with complex accounting processes associated with audit and preparation of financial statements, including items such as leases, provisions, cash flows, tax-effect accounting, cost allocation and segment and providing technical accounting advice to the broader finance team.
With a hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Southbank and is part of the Group Reporting and Accounting team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Assist with complex accounting processes including, cash flow statements, tax-effect accounting and reporting
- Preparation of financial statements and associated analytical reviews.
- Respond to audit queries
- Assist in preparation of Board and Audit Committee papers
- Due diligence procedures and internal controls for group reporting
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- Chartered Accountant, CPA or equivalent
- Training and experience in the application of accounting standards
- Exposure to full suite of financial accounting tasks and strong experience in financial and statutory reporting
- You may have had experience in a Big Four consultancy in a similar like role &/or you are looking for your next opportunity in commerce and industry
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Use of SAP advantageous
