The Role:
This organisation is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer/Financial Controller, you will play a key role for this growing organisation in a diverse role through financial reporting and improvements. Responsibilities of the role include:
- Preparation of month-end accounts (accruals, journals, prepayments)
- Reconciliations (general ledger, balance sheet, bank, credit card)
- Prepare BAS for lodgment with ATO
- Year End and Budget workpaper preparation
- Assistance with group payroll processing and IAS submission
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
