The Financial Accountant position is a Full-Time ongoing role within our Finance Team based in Port Melbourne.
Support Accounts Payable and payroll function Assist with financial accounting processes Bank reconciliations, reporting and liaising with banks Ensure month end processes have been completed accurately and timely, and that the financial results are representative of operational activities Provide monthly analysis and drafting of performance reports (financial and non-financial) Attend and contribute to Business Group operational team meetings Increase the commercial capabilities of Business Group staff Provide backup to other Finance team responsibilities About you Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Finance/ Accounting or related areas Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) or working towards this 3+ years’ relevant experience within a finance team Previous Project Accounting experience would be beneficial Experience working with Financial Force (Salesforce) highly desirable Good modelling (Excel) and presentation (PowerBI, Powerpoint) highly desirable Can do attitude, good work ethic, quick turnarounds, collaborative. Accountable for accuracy and meeting deadlines.
