Your Role
As a Financial Accountant at AMBICO, your role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, which include financial reporting and analysis, general ledger management and reconciliation, overseeing accounts payable and end-of-month processes, as well as the preparation of GST, FBT, PAYG tax returns amongst other duties. These tasks are not merely aspects of the role; they form a vital part of the multifaceted responsibilities you will undertake as a key member of our finance team. Your expertise in these areas will contribute significantly to the overall financial health and success of our organization. We Require
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, experiences, and skills:
- 3+ years of proven financial and accounting management expertise, knowledge, and experience with business systems and processes
- Thorough understanding of financial governance practices preferably in the NDIS Sector
- Demonstrated financial leadership, vision, and strategic planning.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Innovation and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced level skills in Excel and proficient across a range of MS suite platforms and other reporting systems and tools.
