Financial Accountant

Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s leading private health care provider has a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team.

The Opportunity

Joining a dynamic team, the Financial Accountant is responsible for the general maintenance of the Ramsay Health Care (RHC) and Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation (RHRF) balance sheet, account reconciliations, invoice coding and P&L cost centre analysis.

Additionally, this role will contribute to the half-year / year-end statutory reporting and help prepare RHRF statutory accounts.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a positive and professional person with a strong work ethic and the ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of people. As a highly organised individual, you hold strong analytical and logical problem solving skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

In addition, you will also hold the following:

• Exposure to SAP and/or similar accounting software
• Qualifications in Financial or Management Accounting disciplines
• Ability to interpret financial information and identity areas of concern
• Self-starter with ability to set own targets and complete tasks within a timely manner
• Advances skills in Excel
• Experience in a similar role in a large or complex organisation, ideally within in the health care sector desirable
• CA / CPA qualifications are desirable
