The Company
As we approach the year-end period, the demand for interim finance professionals is soaring. We are actively seeking skilled contractors to join our dynamic clients to support them during this critical time.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will have responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Year-End Process Management: Lead and coordinate year-end financial activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
- Audit Oversight: Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.
- Monthly Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, highlighting key insights and trends for management review.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, budget vs. actual comparisons, and other financial assessments to support decision-making.
- Statutory compliance: including GST, PAYE, FBT and assist on income tax.
Key selection criteria include:
- At least 5 years' experience in Financial Accounting
- CA or CPA qualified, ideally Big 4 trained
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available at short notice for commencement.
