deVere Australia is one of the leading Financial Advisory companies based in Sandringham, Melbourne. We are conducting a search for a knowledgeable and experienced Financial Advisor to join our team there.

Current Opening:

This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).

Position Responsibilities and Tasks

· Conduct thorough assessments of clients' financial situations, goals, risk tolerance and investment preferences.

· Assist clients in defining their financial objectives and develop strategies to achieve them.

· Create comprehensive financial plans considering factors like income, expenses, taxes, insurance and investment opportunities.

· Provide advice on investment options, retirement planning and wealth accumulation strategies. Develop personalised investment portfolios based on clients' risk tolerance, time horizon and financial goals.

·  Advise clients on insurance products to mitigate various financial risks.

· Ensure that all financial advice and activities adhere to legal and regulatory frameworks.

·    Conduct research on financial products, market trends and economic indicators.

· Provide ongoing support and communication to keep clients informed about the performance of their investments.

· Maintain accurate records of client interactions, financial plans and investment recommendations.

·  Adhere to ethical standards and principles in providing financial advice.

Qualifications and Skills:

·      Relevant Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline required.

·      A minimum of two-three years' experience in a similar role.

·   Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain financial concepts clearly to clients.

·     Capable of identifying financial challenges and developing effective solutions.

·    Efficiently managing time and prioritising tasks to meet client needs and deadlines.

·    Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a client-focused approach.

Salary:

The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
