The First Response Claims Advisor, 6 month contract, sits within our First Response Team, General Insurance Claims Team. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will provide a high standard of clerical and administrative assistance to the Motor Claims Team, to assist the team in delivering a consistently outstanding claims experience to insured customers and brokers.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist the team in the maintenance of their portfolio by:
  • Prepare and process new claims.
  • Assist with payment requisitions as required.
  • Handle telephone, email and fax enquiries as required.
  • Assist Claims Advisors and team leaders as required.
  • Maintain and accurately input data into databases as required
  • Operate at all times in accordance with specific claims handling protocols (when they are in place) to ensure we understand and fulfil the needs and expectations of our customers

In order to be successful, you will require the following:

  • Senior Certificate of Education (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in Property Claims or Motor Claims or Administrative Support (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Polisy system (preferred)
  • Computer literate - Word and Excel to an intermediate level of proficiency.
  • Demonstrating a concern for quality and accuracy in all areas of work. Sets work standards to ensure quality is maintained and customer needs met.
