Your new role

As a member of the Financial Analysis team, you will assist the Senior Financial Analysts in developing and maintain modelling and reporting that will provide key insights that drive business performance. This role will support the team by providing financial modelling, analysis and reporting, as well as supporting the management and development of the organisation’s budget and forecasts.

What you'll need to succeed

Good level of understanding in regard to management accounting concepts

• Experience using a financial accounting system (e.g. SAP), and an analytical/reporting application (e.g. COGNOS analytics)
• Experience in developing group budgets, forecasting and financial strategies
• Effective knowledge of corporate financial systems – recent SAP experience will be an advantage.
• Proven ability to transition strategic thinking to operational practice and process – including effective development and sustainable implementation of improved business practices.
• Well-developed interpersonal, representation and communication skills – including a proven ability to develop, influence and maintain productive working relationships at all levels.
  • Proven ability to deliver quality results and meet customer expectations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in coping with pressures and setbacks in the pursuit of positively affecting organisational and cultural change
  • Degree in Finance, or Business related discipline or, if not yet tertiary qualified, then progression towards qualification with experience in a financial accounting/management, accounting/business analyst, or similar role.
  • Progress towards CPA or CIMA membership is desirable.
