As a member of Sealy’s International Finance Team, this role will provide the successful candidate with experience across the full spectrum of the financial control activities and operations of the International business.
The role of Financial Analyst will involve application of your proven technical statutory reporting and compliance skills in providing useable insights to support strategic business decisions. This role involves hands-on financial management across multiple jurisdiction and cultures.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Supporting Impactful Decision Making: Ensuring quality and timely submission of all business reporting and coordinating with business units in all markets to ensure all deadlines are met. Performing robust monthly review of each business performance enabling improved insights and incorporation into outlooks and estimates.
- Managing Future Outlooks: Management of the financial planning, forecasting and reporting process of the International business, including in-depth financial/business analysis.
- Coordination and Communication: Management of statutory requirements and tax compliance issues across all markets. Provide sound financial recommendations to stakeholders in non-financial jargon. Ensuring controls remain in place and are adapted to the Company’s changing business processes.
Your Profile
- You are a Chartered Accountant (“CA”)/Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”), with a minimum of three years post qualification experience at a ‘Big Four’ professional services firm. Experience in multi-jurisdictional compliance, reporting and tax issues is highly advantageous
- You have outstanding communication skills. Excellent written and spoken Chinese language skills is desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail, highly developed planning and organizational skill will be critical to your success in the role
- The ability to work under pressure within an outcomes-orientated, deadline driven environment is essential.
