The Position

The primary focus of the Finance Assistant is to support the corporate accounting team:

Responsibilities

• Preparing revenue summaries & reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly trial balances and financial statement preparation.
• Monthly reconciliation of various bank accounts & credit cards.
• Supporting Accounts Manager with monthly project payments, payment runs and accounts queries.
• Maintain schedules and registers for numerous suppliers and reconciliation with supplier statements.
• Maintain settlement summaries for various projects.
• Assistance with the setup of various banking requests.
• Assistance with the review of daily bank payments.
• Assistance with various filing.
• Data validation of supplier invoices via OCR system.
• Providing ad-hoc support to the Finance & Administration team as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive and productive working relationships.

• 1-2 years of experience.
• Relevant degree qualifications.
• Highly motivated, ability to self-manage and proactive with a strong work ethic.
