This is an opportunity for experienced auditors to join a Queensland Government department on a contract through until the end of August 2024 to assist in completing and supporting a range of audits.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Auditor, your responsibilities will surround field work for financial audits.
Duties will include:
Developing audit plans for large and small audits
Undertaking interim and final testing for audits
Managing financial audits and delivering within assigned budget time-frames
Reviewing and providing quality assurance on working documents for other team members
Liaising with clients regarding risks and findings
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you will demonstrate previous experience working within an external audit position within a Top Tier, Commercial, or Public Sector business. You will possess excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in external audit is essential. A Professional Accounting qualification is also required.
Some travel may be required as part of this role.
