Rimanui Farms (Australia) Limited Partnership operates significant agricultural aggregations in northern NSW and northern Tasmania.
The Financial Controller is responsible for managing & administering the finance function of Rimanui Farms (Australia) Limited Partnership. This is a leadership role in a significant agricultural business, with key responsibility for ensuring the delivery of the financial activities of the business.
The role is hands on with sleeves rolled up and calls for a close understanding of the key financial drivers of both aggregations. On time and accurate monthly reporting and reforecasting backed up by physical data is critical.
An important aspect of the role is to work closely with the CFO, General Manager (GM), and each Aggregation Manager to provide relevant data and insights to support tactical and strategic decision making.
This role will report to the CFO, with a dotted reporting line to the General Manager.
Visits to each Aggregation will be required on a regular & ongoing basis.
Skills/Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role administering an agricultural business would be preferable.
- Tertiary qualification – Accounting / Business Management.
- Excellent reporting skills – clear, concise, accurate, timely & insightful reporting.
- Membership of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand or CPA Australia.
