About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at our Head Office in Kingston. Reporting to the Business Owners, you will be responsible for the finance functions across the group and play an instrumental role in key strategic decisions for the business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the finance function for TFH Hire Services and several other entities within the group, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end reconciliations and end-of-month reporting across the group.
- Preparation of internal monthly management accounts.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Finance, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll departments.
- Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger and Fixed Asset Register across all entities.
- Oversee the preparation and lodgment of monthly Business Activity Statements for all entities.
- Liaise with external accountants to coordinate the preparation of tax returns and special purpose financial accounts.
- Manage relationships with key external stakeholders including Insurance Brokers, Banks, External Accountants etc.
Profile:
- CA/CPA Qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role -previous experience working in a family business will be viewed favourably.

- Willingness to get your hands dirty as you provide leadership and mentorship to finance department members.
