At Verdure Financial Planning Solutions, a boutique financial advisory firm, we are on the lookout for a proactive and dynamic Financial Investment Adviser to be part of our dedicated team. We specialise in personalised wealth creation and protection strategies, emphasising efficiency and clarity to make financial planning accessible and understandable for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough client communication to ascertain financial facts and discern their ambitions.
- Develop financial plans and prepare detailed Statements of Advice, Ongoing Services Agreements, and Fee Disclosure Statements.
- Liaise with insurance, superannuation, and investment companies to optimally serve client interests.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with strategic partners to foster enhanced engagement with VFPS's products and services.
- Spearhead client retention and expansion initiatives through joint promotions with key partners.
- Persistently follow up on Statements of Advice to ensure members are on track to meet their financial goals.
- Enhance and maintain client relationships to boost engagement, advisory opportunities, and retention.
- Generate and pursue leads, connecting with pertinent personnel to develop relationships and present our services.
- Organise and present informative seminars to expand advisory opportunities, illustrating the benefits of our financial advice.
- Provide customised financial advice, devising strategies that align with individual client requirements.
- Establish financial goals for clients and formulate strategies to achieve them.
- Perform annual reviews for existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and advancement.
- Maintain high standards of advisory practices, processes, and controls in compliance with industry benchmarks.
- Work autonomously whilst directly reporting to the Managing Director, taking responsibility for your portfolio.
- Employ cold calling and various communication methods to initiate dialogues with prospective clients.
- Build relationships through consultations with potential customers to comprehend their financial objectives.
- Operate effectively within a team setting, excelling under pressure to surpass revenue targets and client engagement benchmarks.
- Ensure client files are maintained in compliance with ASIC regulatory standards.
- Oversee daily tasks and provide leadership to staff members within the business.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience in a Financial Adviser role or similar advisory capacity.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance Planning or a related field
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Aptitude to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Proven track record of establishing and sustaining client relationships.
- You must meet industry standards (FASEA exam, Ethics unit, RG256 approved degree)
