We are currently seeking Client ServicesAdministrators and Paraplanners to join our team. We have multiple positions available with flexibility to work from home for the right candidate .
The ideal administration candidate will have a minimum of 1-year Financial Planning administration experience OR be completing or have completed an undergraduate qualification in Financial Planning or relevant areas. Experience with xplan and AdviserLogic will also be looked on favourably.
Your primary responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) administration tasks such as:
- implementation and follow up of insurance, superannuation, pension and investment applications
- insurance, superannuation, pension and investment policy questionnaires
- xplan and AdviserLogic database maintenance
- attending to client queries
- preparation of documentation for client initial and review meetings
- general administration
- preparation of FDS, Ongoing Service Agreements and Fixed Term Advice Agreements
- management of CommPay and adviser revenue
- adherence to Best Interest Duty obligations on behalf of advisers.
Administrator essential competencies include:
- experience with xplan. This is a deal breaker as the vast majority of our advisers operate this system. Candidates (other than studying or new graduates) without current xplan experience will not be considered
- experience with AdviserLogic will also be looked on favourably
- excellent knowledge of current Best Interest Obligations and their effect on the Financial Planning process
- broad product and technical knowledge that will include insurance, superannuation, equities, portfolio management, Centrelink, gearing and SMSF’s.
As a paraplanner, your primary responsibility will be to complete accurate and compliant Statements of Advice, including complex modelling and associated research tools. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance to advisers where necessary and ensuring that all advice is compliant with licensee standards as well as industry regulations.
Essential paraplanner competencies include;
- DFS (FP) or ADFS (FP) and/or Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning
- Experience with xPlan is essential- candidates with no experience with this software will not be considered
- Experience with Adviser Logic will also be looked on favourably
- Excellent knowledge of current Best Interest Obligations and their effect on the Financial Planning process
- Broad product and technical knowledge that will include insurance, superannuation, equities, portfolio management, Centrelink, gearing and SMSF’s
Broader competencies include;
- High attention to detail and good time management
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently to tight deadlines
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Maintaining client relationships
Full time, part time and casual positions will be considered for the right candidate with the ability to work from home and around family commitments or study.
