Financial Reporting and Tax Manager

MARS Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a fast growing ASX listed Healthcare services business who are looking for a highly experienced Financial Reporting and Tax Manager to join their high performing finance team. As the company grows from strength to strength they are a seeking a professional with strong technical accounting and ASX reporting experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support external ASX and other external reporting partners in compliance with relevant standards
• Work closely with the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer by applying your strong financial acumen and experience in support of financial, statutory and ASX reporting
• Ensure accurate Financial Reporting of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow
• Partnering with the senior leadership team in providing commercial support
• Actively participate in the annual budget and forecast processes
• Support Management with key external relationships including audit, banking, insurance and Tax
• Managing tax relationships with external advisers and Tax authorities
• Responsible for managing the tax affairs of the group, including tax and accounting (monthly and reporting periods)
• Implement and maintain appropriate financial processes and systems
• Lead and manage the external audit process on behalf of the business
  

What we are looking for:

• CA/CPA qualification
• Extensive, relevant experience gained in a medium to large sized organisation
• Strong knowledge of financial operations within an ASX listed organisation
• Strong technical accounting experience and a solid understanding of AASB and IFRS
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions
