The Financial Reporting Manager will oversee financial management and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and compliant financial statements and disclosures. This role involves complex decision-making, advanced stakeholder management, and requires strong leadership skills to support both the company and its broader group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the preparation of financial results, manage reporting deadlines, and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate annual external audits and tax returns, ensuring compliance.
- Supervise the accounts payable team and ensure monthly GL balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage the design and implementation of scheduled Financial Reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Aid department heads in understanding their financial responsibilities and providing them with financial insights.
- Lead process review, automation projects, and strategic initiatives within the ERP platform to enhance efficiency.
- Provide effective communication and respond to requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting processes.
- Tertiary qualification in Business with CA or CPA membership.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Background in audit, with a solid understanding of auditing processes and requirements.
- Strong financial accounting and reporting knowledge.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably NAV/Business Central.
- Excellent communication and staff management skills.
- Ability to self-manage and work to deadlines in a busy environment.
- Salary circa $140k-$150k plus super
