Flexible location - Sydney/Melbourne/BrisbanWhat you’ll do
In your new role, as a Financial Viability Analyst, your key focus will be to use your financial analysis, and data management skills to collect and analyse financial statements, provide recommendations, and prepare evidence-based assessment reports for our customers on organizations tendering for a range of contracts. This will utilise your financial literacy & numeracy skills, as well as your ability to analyse financial statements to assess counterparty risks and arrive at an assessment outcome within Equifax’s risk framework. You will prepare reports that identify key issues and insights and make recommendations, so strong report writing and presentation skills are essential.
Using your strong stakeholder management skills, you will build rapport with external senior stakeholders in the Government and Private sectors to obtain key financial information such as report requirements, financial statements, assessment scope and any additional queries. You can demonstrate your time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills, and the ability to meet
deadlines and performance targets.
In addition, you will keep abreast of industry developments to ensure you are familiar with the business drivers, dynamics, macro-economic environment and challenges across a range of markets.
What experience do you need?
● Degree qualifications in Business, Accounting or Finance
● Commercial experience in accounting and financial statement and financial and/or credit analysis
● Ability to multi-task & manage work priorities in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to meet deadlines and performance targets
What could set you apart?
● Professional qualifications or progression towards obtaining CA, CPA or CFA
● Corporate experience in financial services & banking domain
● Understanding of risk management and mitigation and ability to analyse data to form recommendations and provide insights
