We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finishes & Defects Supervisor. We are open to people with a residential background to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finishes work and defects management, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all finishes and defects-related activities on residential construction sites.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely completion of finishes work according to project schedules.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to identify and rectify any defects or issues promptly.
- Ensure that all finishes work meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of defects, repairs, and completion status for reporting purposes.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Foreman or similar role in residential construction, with a focus on finishes and defects management.
- Strong knowledge of finishes materials, techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve defects efficiently.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
