In this role, you’ll:
undertake a range of duties as part of the maintenance crew and independently, including:
- Extensive experience in road construction and maintenance, particularly levelling and trimming processes.
- Demonstrated ability to trim and finish road pavements to tight tolerances.
- Operate plant machinery to achieve predetermined tolerances, achieving high quality and smooth road output.
- Have responsibility for the completion of activities to quality specifications.
- Lead, monitor and control the operation of all other plant and staff in road operations being undertaken, particularly levelling and trimming processes.
- Accept that you will be required to work away from home on a regular basis.

About you:
We’re seeking a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments. You are a well-seasoned Grader Operator looking for an opportunity to further develop and progress your career with a rewarding organisation.
You will also hold the following:
- White Card.
- Heavy Rigid or Medium Rigid Licence.
- Experience operating a grader.
- Experience operating plant machinery.
- Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment.
- Experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.
As a Finishing Grader operator, you will have experience delivering high quality final trim grading and leading a crew.
You must be willing to perform General Labouring work at a Road Worker Grade 3 level when not operating plant and equipment.
As this role requires you to work on a regular basis away from home, we are open to accepting applications from locations across the Western region.
