In this role, you’ll:

undertake a range of duties as part of the maintenance crew and independently, including: 

• Extensive experience in road construction and maintenance, particularly levelling and trimming processes.
• Demonstrated ability to trim and finish road pavements to tight tolerances.
• Operate plant machinery to achieve predetermined tolerances, achieving high quality and smooth road output.
• Have responsibility for the completion of activities to quality specifications.
• Lead, monitor and control the operation of all other plant and staff in road operations being undertaken, particularly levelling and trimming processes.
• Accept that you will be required to work away from home on a regular basis.

About you:

We’re seeking a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments. You are a well-seasoned Grader Operator looking for an opportunity to further develop and progress your career with a rewarding organisation.

 You will also hold the following:

• White Card.
• Heavy Rigid or Medium Rigid Licence.
• Experience operating a grader.
• Experience operating plant machinery.
• Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment.
• Experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.

As a Finishing Grader operator, you will have experience delivering high quality final trim grading and leading a crew.

You must be willing to perform General Labouring work at a Road Worker Grade 3 level when not operating plant and equipment.

As this role requires you to work on a regular basis away from home, we are open to accepting applications from locations across the Western region.
