Your new role
As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for detailed design and technical engineering deliverables, within a team of five established engineers. You will have the opportunity to work alongside other engineers within a range of industries and markets to further develop your expertise and see the project through from start to finish. Depending on the size of any deliverables, you will be expected to work on one to five projects at a time, liaising with your and other teams, as well as project managers, to create exceptional engineering design. With a manager that provides leadership and direction, you will be supported to thrive in this environment and dive deeper into an enjoyable career where staff retention is a key tenent and people are key to their business.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have:
- A Bachelor's in Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Revit, experience with Hyena is also advantageous.
You will likely be a motivated engineer with strong communication skills, who is able to work both independently and as a team. Our client is looking for an engineer who is interested in doing detailed work with a keen eye for detail. RPEQ or CPEng is advantageous, but not required, and our client works with their employees to achieve those goals together.
