Position: Senior Fire Protection Engineer
Location: Melbourne
Role Purpose:
As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving the delivery of building services from the initial design phase through to construction. This role offers the unique opportunity to significantly contribute to our team and business by:
- Collaborating on job costing and time planning with management and project leaders.
- Designing and documenting systems from concept through detailed documentation phases.
- Liaising with relevant authorities and overseeing technical submissions by contractors.
- Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of ADP's Quality System across projects.
- Applying relevant standards, codes, and legislation to designs and advice.
- Mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, communication, and excellence.
About You:
- At least 3 years of professional engineering experience, with exposure to various stages of project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, interpreting and sharing complex information across multiple disciplines.
- A proactive individual with a drive for excellence, a positive mindset, and emotional intelligence.
- An emerging leader, keen on learning mentoring skills and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Creative in problem-solving, with a focus on innovative thinking and a commitment to task completion.
