All Stop Fire Systems was established in 2002 and have since been a provider of three core services, including consult and design, supply and installation for new construction, as well as testing and maintenance.
We are currently seeking an Cabler to join our team preferably in a team leader role, carrying out mostly installation works. No experience in Fire required. As we are a fire company, it is preferred but not required to have experience in fire. We're looking for a highly organised individual, with a positive and solution based 'can-do' attitude, willing to work individually, as well as supervise a small team.
Your duties would include -- Installation of cables for Fire Detection & Alarm systems
- Installing fire detection and alarm system devices in accordance with the relevant Australian Standard (No experience in fire required).
- Testing and Commissioning Fire Detection & Alarm systems
- Use of hand and power tools and equipment as required.
- Read and follow plans and instructions.
- Use ladders and scaffolding.
- Working in confined spaces.
- Working at heights.
- Will require working individually and as a team.
- Following all WHS procedures.
Requirements -
To be considered for this position:
- You must hold a unrestricted cabling license OR be willing to complete a 5 day ‘Open cabling’ course (mixed - online and in person).
- You must have a white card (general construction induction card) before starting.
- Experience in the fire industry is preferred but no essential.
- A drivers license and your own vehicle or suitable transport is preferred as job locations vary frequently.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Willingness to learn and progress your knowledge and skills of the trade.
- You should be confident to working at heights.
- You must have a strong dedication to this trade.
This position is full time 40 hours per week with some weekly overtime at times when required.
