We are currently seeking a competent and licenced Fire Door/Service Technician to join our service department team based in Brisbane, serving the Brisbane metro area, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba, Darling Downs regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test, install and maintain fire and smoke doors
Mandatory Qualifications:
- QBCC Licensed in Passive Stream
- Qualified Trades Person - Carpentry (Cert 3)
- Strong knowledge of relevant, applicable Australian Standards such as and not limited to AS1851.2012, AS1905, BCA and current NCC
- Relevant Industry experience 1-3 years across industries such as construction, retail, health/medical, commercial, public sectors
- Current Qld Open Drivers License
- Strong, positive work ethics
- Positive Attitude, Motivated
- Proven time management skills
- Willingness to obtain Qld Police check, Flu Vaccination, Construction Industry Card.
Other desirable qualifications
- Fire industry experience - 1-3 years
- QBCC Licensed in Portables Stream
- Experience with fire management systems like Firemate and/or Uptick
