- Grade: Fire Vehicle Repairer
- Salary: $1,370.70 per week (Level 1) to $1,576.30 per week (Level 4), plus a Tool Allowance of $35.40 per week. A Fire Equipment Allowance of $92.20 per week will be payable after 12 months continuous satisfactory service. A Heavy Vehicle Inspectors Allowance of $2.54 per day is paid to employees who have successfully completed the Transport RMS training course and issued with a Heavy Vehicle Inspectors Number.

About the role:
This role will maintain and repair all diesel/heavy vehicles and appliances associated with the operation of FRNSW.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant Mechanical trade qualifications with Motor Vehicle Trade Persons Certificate
- Hold or willingness to obtain a HR driving licence within three months of starting in the role at candidates own expense.
Note: The role holder is required to work in accordance with a roster system, requiring shift work, overtime, on-call and some interstate travel for up to a week at a time.
The role holder will undertake relevant industry-based training as required.
During periods of On-Call, the role holder needs to reside within reasonable work proximity to allow for required response.
