Who are we?
Blueprint Career Development has been operating as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO#30978) in Queensland since 2003. Over that time, we have progressively increased our course offerings and currently deliver hospitality, training and assessment, active volunteering, business, career development, and personal development courses and qualifications throughout Queensland and other states on demand.
Due to an expansion, we are seeking an experienced, engaging, and motivated First Aid + CPR Trainer and Assessor for the following school-based Hospitality Programs:
SIT20322 Certificate II in Hospitality
SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality
SIT20122 Certificate II in Tourism
What do you need to be considered?
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Inc TAELLN411 & TAEASS502) or high-level qualification in adult education such as a Diploma, Graduate Diploma in Adult and Vocational Education and Training
- Relevant industry qualifications
- Current, relevant industry experience
- Blue Card Holder (or willingness to obtain)
In addition to the requirements specified above, you will have the following:
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a friendly disposition
- A strong work ethic
- Computer literate
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to a variety of locations
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering exceptional training and assessment, including management of High School age students and Teachers
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
- Supporting the moderation, compliance, and administration processes
- Liaising with the team to ensure best practices are followed.
About you
To be considered for the role, you must have the following:
- Relevant industry experience and the ability to demonstrate currency in First Aid related competencies
- Ability to travel throughout QLD
- A desire to impart your Industry knowledge to High School students
- Good computer skills and a high level of written communication
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
Hours, wages, and conditions will be discussed at the interview. You must be based in Logan, Northern Gold Coast, Brisbane South or Brisbane North to be considered for this role.
