Do you have a passion for customer service and wanting to kick start your career as a Business Trainee? This is your chance! Gain invaluable hands-on experience whilst completing a 12 Month Traineeship and Certificate III in Business.
Working within a local banking branch based in Thursday Island, this is a real career start within a supportive environment. The successful trainee will have the opportunity to develop their experience and skills on the job.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting customers with their enquires whilst providing a positive branch experience.
- Processing transactions and serving on counters.
- Coaching customers on self-service banking
- Providing administrations support to the team.
What are we looking for?
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- A well-presented team-player with excellent work ethic
- Excellent communication skills and sound computer knowledge
- A reliable and punctual individual who demonstrates initiative
- Demonstrated ability in cash handling and/or customer service
- Satisfactory completion of a National Police Check
