Are you passionate about creating positive change for First Nations people? Are you skilled at building relationships and engaging with communities? If so, an exciting opportunity is now available for a First Nations Senior Engagement Officer to join our First Nations Engagement Team.
What you’ll do
As a First Nations Senior Engagement Officer, you will make significant contributions to the UniSQ First Nations Engagement and Marketing Strategy and support a range of First Nations initiatives across the school, vocational education and training, community and industry sectors. You will also lead and deliver a development program to support UniSQ’s First Nations Student Ambassador’s while ensuring constructive feedback and essential coaching and development opportunities are provided.
What will help you succeed
- An understanding of Australian First Nations perspectives as well as experience working with and communicating sensitively with First Nations people.
- A Degree qualification as well as experience in engagement and outreach activities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritise work activities in order to achieve high quality work outcomes.

Salary: Total remuneration range $102,135 to $110,617 pa (includes salary range of $86,299 to $93,466 pa, employer super contributions of 17% and annual leave loading)
