Then Brismark, a member-based services organisation located on Brisbane’s southside, is looking for someone like you to join our team as our Senior Marketing and Engagement Executive.
Reporting to our Business and Service Delivery Manager, your role will be rewarding and varied, and you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing engagement activities with all stakeholders including wholesalers, growers, billers, retailers, industry and government to establish strong and effective relationships which help promote Brismark and its services, programs, members and the Central Market.
- Planning, drafting and executing stakeholder engagement plans.
- Supporting Industry representation and advocacy activities including reviewing government policies and industry issues, and drafting submission papers and policy positions.
- Writing, developing, and designing content and collateral that supports the delivery of key communications, stakeholder engagement and marketing initiatives including EDM's, brochures, reports, proposals, media releases, publications, and articles.
- Writing regular articles for industry publications.
- Effective marketing and promotion of Brismark’s services to increase uptake and revenue and achieve agreed KPIs.
- Responsible for the commercialisation of current and new services to help increase revenue.
The role is an office-based, full-time role with early starts (7am).
Skills and Experience
Do you have:
- A relevant degree in communications, public relations, business or similar.
- At least 7 years’ experience relating to stakeholder engagement and communications.
- Strong engagement and relationship skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility across retailers, buyers, wholesalers, government, grower groups and external and internal stakeholders with measurable outcomes.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop a range of communication materials including letters, proposals, industry submissions and reports for a variety of stakeholders and audiences.
- A strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to contribute to improving business performance and profitability.
- Initiative and excellent organisational, time management and planning skills.
- Knowledge of the horticulture industry and fresh produce supply chain is an advantage.
