First Or Second Year Solar Electrical Apprenticeship

Willco Electrical is an electrical company operating in the greater Melbourne area. We are currently experiencing rapid growth and are looking to hire first and/or Second Year electrical apprentices to join our experienced team. 

We specialise in the renewable energy sector, predominately solar, installing systems on both domestic and commercial sites. Projects include newbuilds, construction, existing properties and occasionally battery installations. 

We pride ourselves in delivering high quality installations, in house design with Tier 1 products and being involved with large scale projects across the region.

The solar industry is one of the fastest growing industries and apprentices with experience in solar are highly sought after, making an apprenticeship in solar a great start to your career. 

About the role

We are looking for first/Second Year electrical apprentices and will be considering candidates with all levels of experience, who have a keen interest in the solar industry. Candidates of all ages are encouraged to apply, including mature age apprentices. 

We are based in Bentleigh, however as we cover the greater Melbourne area you will be required to travel directly to site most days.

Requirements:

Interested candidates must possess the following minimum requirements

• Have a can-do attitude, be reliable, self-driven and motivated to succeed
• Workplace Health & Safety focused
• Be presentable and able to deal with clients
• Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or relevant right to work visa
• Construction Industry White Card (White Card)
• Own transport & driver’s license

Highly Desirable, not essential:

• Working at Heights card 
• Safety Solar Training
