ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Content and Talent Team as First Peoples Strategic Lead on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Director Content & Talent, you'll establish a consultation framework and project plan for VicScreen's First Peoples strategic approach. This work will build upon but sit separately from VicScreen's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategic Framework and Action Plan.
It'll involve the evaluation of current VicScreen practices, processes and procedures; and identification and recommendation of opportunities to implement solutions to advance the creation of First Peoples content and careers of First Peoples practitioners within the Victorian Screen Industry.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
You'll have significant policy and program development, design and implementation skills as well as, but not limited to:
  • Experience: Significant and demonstrated experience in strategy development, preferably in the areas of First Peoples policy and strategy.
  • Project Management: Sound experience in project management.
  • Stakeholder relationships: You have a natural ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholders relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
