The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced Fitter and Turner for our Afternoon Shift based at our Wingfield site, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Competent welding skills would be an advantage as the role will include some minor welding. This position is responsible for:
- Major / minor repairs of fixed and mobile plant and equipment
- Provide assistance with plant and equipment breakdowns
- Provide assistance with minor welding on plant and equipment
To be successful in this position you will display the following qualifications and experience:
- Trade qualification in Fitting and Turning
- Competent with Arc and Mig welding
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Have the ability to work as part of a team and individually
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and safe work practices
- High attention to detail and accuracy
