Are you looking for a new opportunity with a great work life balance and ability to grow with your role?Randstad are currently seeking experienced qualified fitters and turners to join our team on a permanent basisWe are looking for an experienced Fitter and Machinist to work with our defence clients in Hobart. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, both in Hobart and across Australia. The successful candidate will have the chance to travel and work with different locations.Duties:- Servicing, maintaining, repairs with defence assets (Vehicles, weapons etc)
- Set up and operate a variety of machines
- Assemble and fit parts to exact specifications and tolerances
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environmentQualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fitter and Machinist
- Federal Police check (National)
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
