SalaryThe team at Northern Feed Systems live and breathe farm feeding systems. We design and manufacture stock feed processing equipment which is used on farms across Australia and New Zealand. We’re a brand with big plans, and the years ahead will see us adapt and change with the ever-evolving footprint of Australian agriculture.
We currently have a unique opportunity for a hands-on Fitter/ Fabricator. A background as a fitter /fabricator, particularly in the agricultural sector, is essential for success in this role. You will work as a team member in the group’s production activities. A person who has experience dealing with customers to problem solve is a critical skill we are seeking.
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following:- Experience in welding, fitting and manufacturing, particularly stockfeed milling or similar process;
- Experience working with customers directly on product and technical solutions;
- Ability to manage your work schedules;
- Attention to detail and organisation;
- A solid understanding of safety and quality standards and good manufacturing practices;
- Resourceful and logical thinker with an eye for improving efficiency;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence.
