Reed Mining Services was established in 2005 by a small group of industry professionals with backgrounds in mining and engineering. From very humble beginnings with just two employees to a series of employees with skills in project management, mechanical engineering, mechanical trades, electrical trades, and fabrication trades etc.
We currently have fantastic opportunities available for an experienced skilled Fitter / machinists to help us keep production on time and maintain our high standards.
About the role
- Site Fitting and workshop fitting and machining roles available
- Long term contracts
- Full time Permanent roles available
- Above award wages offered.
- Work Vehicle to be supplied depending on role location.
Skills and experience
Fitter/Machinist - Duties include but are not limited to:
- Site Mechanical Repairs
- Site Installations
- Site Testing
- Fitting, both onsite and workshop
- Must be a team player
- Pump Rebuilds
- Gear Box Rebuilds
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Driver's license
- Forklift license (Preferred)
Our work is varied and provides the opportunity to take on a wide range of challenges. The right candidate must be a motivated self-starter with at least 1-year recent post trade experience.
The remuneration package will be negotiated in line with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
Living away from home allowance provided
