Procurement Officer

Located in Warragul 3820, our client is seeking a Procurement Officer to rise to the challenges of this role. This is an integral part of their business, and you will be responsible for all aspects of stock control and procurement.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Forecasting, supplier performance monitoring & costing negotiations
• Inventory control
• Acquire and preserve supplier relationships
• Procurement planning for purchases
• Constructing bill of materials, purchase orders & reconciliation of invoices
• Other duties as instructed

You will require:

• Exceptional analytical & problem solving capability
• 3 plus years in a similar position
• Procurement in the manufacturing or construction industry is advantageous
• SAP experience is essential – SAP Business One is desirable
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and working with data in Excel
• Proven supplier sourcing & negotiation expertise
• Exposure to import & shipping process (desirable)
